Adam is a son of our dear colleague Michal. He was born with many health issues, in fact, there are only 24 children in the world who are affected by this complicated health situation. As little Adam has a special diet and very expensive treatments and physiotherapy, we as a team decided to chip in and help.
Adam just celebrated his second birthday but unfortunately instead of playing with his friends and eating a huge cake he was on the way to the hospital.
And this is his story:
Adam was born with multiple developmental defects that could not have been prevented. He is missing part of his brain, has a heart problem, a kidney problem, severe muscular hypotonia, a direct entry into his stomach and other complications. Completed genetic tests have discovered a rare genetic defect that only 24 individuals in the world have. The prognosis is non-existent. Doctors say that only time will tell.
Little Adam needs full time care so Dana, Michal’s wife, gave up her job to take care of their son. Michal works with us as a product manager. As we already mentioned, therapies, special nutrition and other treatments are very expensive so our team collected among ourselves money which the Trustsoft company then doubled. We were able to surprise Michal with a voucher for more than 200 000 CZK.
